Good to note. However E-Coli and violent diarrhea in Honduras (I personally experienced that) will make you pop some zithromax
I surely wouldn't. I've been sick almost everywhere in the world at one time or another, but precautionary antibiotics and meds are not a wise idea.

Kaopectate or Immodium, yes. I'm not at all a fan of taking antibiotics because one *might* have something. Overuse of antibiotics is dangerous, not just personally, but for everyone, in the long run.
