This is pure speculation, i have no facts to support this theory but...
I would guess suicide. Who would open a door shortly after takeoff? I could see someone having a rough time financially or otherwise. Go out with a bang, charter or rent a private plane and jump out. Wouldnt get sucked or pushed out if it had accidentally open. Cabin altitude if it was pressurized would hardly be anything more than outside pressure at 2,000agl. Even then, once its equalized its just windy and cold. Im not familiar with the seating arrangement but if it was an accidental opening and the guy was right next to it without his seat belt on it could be possible i guess...
Or maybe someone with a serious fobia of flying and in such fobia(fobic?) rage, opened the door and tried to get out.
Iv had passengers do it (unsuccessfully)...
Just my thoughts.
Like i said, none of the above is based off of any my knowledge of the victim, just pure speculation about human behavior.
And no, i did not know him or the pilot.
