Default Ground incident at Johannesburg

Jet wing strikes building at Johannesburg airport

A jetliner's wing sliced through a building Sunday night at the airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, just as the plane was about to take off.

Strikes a building? How about "destroys entire building". By the way, since when has BA joined AF in the wingtip destruction game? Haha
In New York, no free lunch but plenty of complimentary winglet clipping (Update) - Flight International

Default Pure Conjecture...

I don't see any solid details on this incident currently, so this is 100% conjecture.

Looking at the pictures from the news story, and comparing to Google Maps, I believe they may have hit this building.

If so, it suggests the plane didn't make the left-bend in the taxiway towards runway 03L.

(of course, I could have the wrong building picked out...)
