Agree. Who outside of commercial aviation knows/uses the terms FO/CA? To the public, the pilots sit in the little room up front.

I think he is referring that most people, even if they knew the term First Officer, would call it "FO" on a forum unless they were familiar with the acronym already.

The troll-article is very similar to the "Is this a SWA pilot?" thread a year ago. Even the way the troller includes questions in the subject line "Am I out of line here?" and a lot of the phrases. I would bet it is the same person trying to get attention again.

I find no evidence that reddeacon is the same person as the other person referred to by cardiomed. It is entirely possible that in this world with 4 billion people someone else is posting in a similar way.

That SWA thread was not closed and I am not inclined to close this one just yet. Even a staid forum made up of professional aviators, pilots, captains and FO types need a little light entertainment once in a while.

So let's see if reddeacon has anything further to add. If not, this thread will die a natural death. I'm just thankful he hasn't accused posters of wasting his time or giving him ludicrous advice.

I thought about that too.. perhaps there is a constancy to crazy, but occam's razor suggests it is the same. I assume you looked at IP addresses? Of course, they are easily spoofed or proxied etc.

cardiomd you're wrong. In fact you seem to resemble his behavior. He does indeed have not only handicapped tag to hang from the mirror (he has cars at 2-airports), he has a handicapped license tag.

I'm not a troll. I came here for advice from his peers. I spend my days searching for oil and gas in the western hemisphere. Everything I posted is factual.

I've had a concealed carry permit for 6-years, I can defend myself. He does not carry while flying, that is he is not an officer or agent as was mentioned previously. He is just doing dumb cum stupid cum dangerous things that concern me.
