That is a great song. OUR DEBORAH would have investigated the train hit and run, and probably would have gotten to the bottom of it too. Probably DAMNED OLD BRAKES but perhaps automation was also a contributing factor with failure to maintain a scan of the tracks ahead.
I returned home and sat in the plush recliner with my laptop. My first love, still blissfully aware of the second, just called out, "Cardio, are you doing work on that or talking with those weirdo pilots again?
"I told you, 'weirdo pilots' is redundant." I replied. "You can just say 'pilots'."
I pulled out a box of Oreos, and absentmindedly stacked a couple of them together. "This is like a FlyJSH fantasy," I thought. I wondered who would be in the middle. I still don't understand the mechanics and really do not want to find out.
"Lady Cardio, do you think... well.. I mean, do you think that Deb will forget us?" I tried to hide my emotion.
"Who on earth is Deb?" she replied.

We have already established that you are very much unqualified to assess the intelligence of others!
Nice try though again, we are here to discuss aviation safety and have a bit of fun doing it. I'm not going to argue with you; if you want to get all hot and bothered on political issues there are numerous other places you can pick fights with people all day!

Do you think it is too soon to move on? While my internet searches were previously loyal to the NTSB chairwoman, I am now branching out. You know, just putting the feelers out there.
If we could only get Sandra Bullock appointed as the new NTSB chair, all would be perfect in the world. She has all that great experience too, being on out of control city buses. Very well qualified.
No resemblance at all. None at all.

I heard her (Deb) being interviewed on the "Here and Now" show on NPR yesterday. Probably the first interview since taking over the NSC. I don't even remember the topic now after hearing that angelic voice.
I longed for the yesteryear of her televised briefings.

cardiomd,
May I recommend a movie, now that you've moved on to Miss Sandra.....
I should warn you. After seeing it, in your next life you'll want to come back as a loofah.

I'll have to check it out. As it is a Rom-Com Ms. Cardiomd will probably go for it too.

Does Mrs. Cardiomd know about your thing for Deborah? Or perhaps, in the words of Seinfeld, "She's into it.....!"???? Inquiring minds want to know!
