Something like this happened to me recently (ATC error), at a large US airport. Fly safe out there and keep your heads up.

Now that's a clear go around situation if I've ever seen one!!! Did the pilot on the ground blow through a hold short or did ground screw that up. In any case the FO clearly didn't look out the window to see someone on final, or he just ignored the traffic.

Remind me not to fly to Barcelona....holy cow!!! Apparently its cool to ignore hold shorts at an active runway and if those clowns in the tower think that was sufficient separation then I got some swampland in Florida to sell to them. Now CNN has the story and is running away with it. They have the "Screen of DEATH" up showing people how "crowded" the airspace is.
