Ok. I changed my mind. I think it's clear. We can blame the German Wings. They were one of the few company who did not required the "min 2 in a cabin" procedure. Profit orientated company believed that stewards need to be all the time in cabin and sell everything to passengers.
After the crash many other flight corporation like Air Transat, Air Canada, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Icelandair, the Finnair and also the Easyjet overwrote its procedure and from now on minimum 2 staff must be in cockpit all time.
Problem sorted. Just way too late.

Are you saying MX data was sent to the Frenchies, and then onto Germanwings, and the data shows that this is what he did? Where have you seen that?

The technology ATC uses in Europe must be similar to that of the UK and Japan. I do know that when I fly to Japan and England the ATC facility can read out exactly what I set in the mode control panel. Last trip to London I was a bit slow in resetting my altimeter (other things going on). ATC reminded me of QNH just as I was reaching for the Kollsman. I would surmise that the French can also read mach number, airspeed selection, and altitude selection on the MCP
Any ATC experts able to confirm?
The ADS capability/contract must be fairly robust to capture all of those data bursts as well.

Just for giggles, I checked out the recommended "forum". It started off great talking about some super hot chick, but then it soon degraded into a bunch of psycho-babble insecurity crap. They need to sit down with Stuart Smalley, because, da-gone-it, I am good enough, smart enough, and people like me.

The data bursts are posted in this forum, and a few other places.
It is incontrovertible. Not maintenance data, ADS data.
