Not everyone in that class is from BigSky. I was at that job fair along with two of my colleagues. We were there from 10am when they opened till 1pm and were the only pilot applicants there. More may have showed up between 1pm and when they closed at 4pm. One of my colleagues was hired with 500 and 140 and is in that class. I was not hired. I had 1000 and 150. We're flight instructors. Besides flight instructors in that class, some are 135 and some 121 from Mesa and somewhere else.

I don't think that is statement is entirely wrong. Interviewed in 2005 with a few FLYi guys and was the only one hired. They had 2000-5000 hours and I had 900.
Attitude is everything at AWAC. The FLYi guys had the 5 times the experience I had but, it was obvious that they were not too excited about working here. I have also heard stories about guys that flew the rj at other airlines not using the AWAC callouts.
Is it hard to teach and old dog new tricks??
