A direct contribution into a 401k would make the most sense and lift the limits that people would run into. I think the current limits are something like $50k if the company is the one putting into it. I agree 100% it can't be a match because then you'd get taxed to meet the top end.
None of my business but do you think 23 year olds who may leave anyway really want a Pension that Atlas would be paying out 77 years from now?
The new industry standard is a Direct Contribution of 16-18%.
