Thanks for all the replies Pete, much appreciated. Thinking of throwing my resume in the ring.....it would be my third time interviewing. The last time was 12 years ago at the age of 30. I screwed up the sim ride. I have wanted to fly for Horizon/ Alaska since I was a kid. My father was the #2 pilot they ever hired to fly the f27. I lived in Seattle for awhile and flew for Air Pac flying cargo in Sennecas and Chieftans for awhile. I imagine I will be a liitle on the senior side but there is just something about flying in that part of the country and I think that q400 is just a cool machine....again thanks Pete.

They switched me to PM reserve on my last day and didn't even touch me. They awarded me a consolidation line next bid and I think I'd rather be on reserve: 4 on 2 off 3 on 1 off 3 on 1 off.

You only have one day off between trips on a composite line? If thats true you should get that fixed. Composite line must be built with two days off between trip pairings (unless it's the first and last day of the bid period).

Is a consolidation line considered a composite line? That seems to be the question and is making its way up the union for interpretation. 8(L)1 is the only reference and is a bit vague but 3 different weeks with only 1 day off is horrible.

I don't think consolidation is considered composite. That one-day-off schedule does suck, though.

Opps, sorry I read it wrong. No, a consolidation line is not a composite line, although it would be nice if the same rules applied to both.
