Quote: The 401k match is suspended for 90 days. The original options for 60 days were: 1) 15 on, 15 off with the last 5 days of each rotation paying 1.5. 2) 10 on, 10 off, no premium pay. 3) Part PTO, part 10 on and 4) all PTO. Last night it was announced we will have 10 days per month paid with some undefined deferred compensation at the end of 90 days. We should get a fact sheet later today outlining the details. Any idea how many Netjets pilots have taken leave?
As of March 31st it was 188 which more slowly trickling in. Keep in mind a number of these were for only 30 days, others I read about as much as 4 months. Could be higher, not everyone volunteers what they put in for on the message board.

As far as Furloughs at NetJets, those will be difficult with all the fleet types we have. Globals, Gulfstreams, Challenger 350's and 650's, Latitudes, Sovereigns, Excels, Phenom 300's, etc. Lots and lots of training at FSI which was short staffed before the virus crisis. I posted a few days ago that a 1000 pilot furlough would go back to late 2004/early 2005 DOH. Pilots with over 10 years get 4 months furlough pay. And the WARN act requires 2 month's notice of a large layoff. So 6 months of pay for many of the theoretical 1000. I would guess NJA will offer something like American Airlines has where you're paid a portion of your salary to stay home and remain current in the Sim. That way if flying spools up faster than expected NJA will be ready.

WTF. You are flying around the rich and famous on the promise that you might get paid for it later?

That is Ricci's MO. He has unfortunately found people stupid enough to believe it...

[QUOTE=ImBack;3019461]How is that FDP pay program working now?

Its working pretty damn good. Thanks for asking. The FDP pay added 35k last year to the W2. Between that and the 30k bonus the union negotiated the extra 65k helped me pay off all my bills. I actually made $1200 in FDP pay last tour. I don’t expect to see that again anytime soon, but it’s better than a pay cut. I’m not naive enough to think NJA will stroll through this massive downturn without major adjustments and maybe even a real furlough is possible(not a 2N fantasy one). If that time comes I’m glad we have a union to provide structure and pay for 3-6 months while enduring these tough times. I wish all at Flex and everywhere else the best of luck during these times. I believe wishing tough times on anyone is bad Karma. I’m just glad I have a contract and a union. Good luck.

The WARN act alone should demonstrate how preposterous the furlough claim is. As though it just fell out of the sky on an unsuspecting pilot group. Add in the furlough pay and training costs, and one might understand how implausible a NJ’s furlough would be just a few weeks into this crisis. Sadly, many in the target audience don’t know just how big of a lie is being foisted on them.

Undefined compensation is another way to say you're getting nothing. No 401K match, no nothing. Too many of the Flex folks are too stupid to understand what the Riccster is doing to them!

I only feel bad for the guys who supported the 1108, not just verbally, but also with their dues. The naysayers put all of their faith in Ricci and now they're finding out that they have ZERO say so in their work life. Sure, concessions would probably be coming with a union, but at least you'd have a voice at the table. And what about the non-Red Label guys? They are the first to get furloughed regardless of seniority and the Red Label guys are protected. Remember that little gem that Ricci and RH kept sliding across the table when negotiations were taking place before the decert? Oh yes, it's true. And when one certain individual called them out on it on Yammer, they wanted his head on a platter for it.

I’m sure NN and RH won’t be seeing any cut in their pay... both of them are the definition of dirt bags

Kenn Ricci told the Flex pilots there would be no pay for days worked over 10 days, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.” So they got that goin' for them...
