Yea I pay close to the same, a little under 5k for the wife and two kids included. I just wanted to overly exaggerate and still show the silliness of keeping the medical in the last CBA and potentially giving up tens of thousands of dollars annually in other compensation because of it.

How do you average 3 work days per month for 4 months and still bring in 196k?

Must be on reserve. Which means he really only has 12 days off (or however many Spirit has in their contract) and then the company didn't use him for 15 even though he was on call. That's great if you live in base, but not so much as a commuter.

Total bs to say you only worked 3 days a month. Stupid

4 yr cpt is $200 an hour. 72hr reserve min pay. That doesnt equal 196K. Common core math?

Could be a host of things. Vacation, lots of premium pay trips, pay protected trip drops, smart bidding etc.

I am on 126/hr right now and will make a fair bit above that in annual salary, and even more if you include 401k. It’s all about the work rules.
