Not much on the news about this major civil war:

Terrible. Ethnicism and nationalism translate into civil war, while the dead all bleed the same color.

More like the EU sponsored groups fight the RU sponsored groups. This is almost entirely outside of Ukrainian politics.

I love moral equivalence. The Russians are the bad guys, no Russians no civil war.

It's like if the Russians tried to get Mexico into their trade union. I don't think the US would just let that happen right?

Trying to get Ukraine into the EU is an act of political aggression. No side is morally right, but Russia was forced to react. It's all a very calculated game.

Yes comrade, but as an aside Putin is welcome to Mexico and or Califonrnia.

They weren't trying to get Ukraine into the EU, Ukraine had an election, the pro EU side won despite Russian threats. If Mexico had an election on joining the Russian Federation, I doubt we would invade. Hell half the Dems in Congress would ask for asylum.

Or we could just trade Obama for Putin and sell California at auction.

Source? Pretty sure the pro-EU government was not "elected" until after the pro-Ukraine government was overthrown by the CIA.

no way the CIA swore off over throws after they gave Chavez cancer. So what you giggling girls are saying is the Kremlin had no interest in the Ukraine and were hands off until the nasty CIA came in and over through the Russian stooge!

And yes Nancy a commie Mexico would not look radically different then today's Mexico. Perhaps some of those Union jobs would move back North.

You act like you have almost no comprehension of how politics works. Follow this line of thinking if you will:

Russia has strong ties with Ukraine (Think: Puerto Rico / US)
EU tries to get Ukraine to weaken ties and join up with them (after EU specifically agreed to stay away)
Russia steps in and says no I don't think so.

If any country tried to move into the NE hemisphere you bet there would be severe retaliation from US. Do you get your news from FOX or MSNBC?
