So they just called me AGIAN for open flying out of Chicago tomorrow on the only weekend I got on my crappy relief line that was only built to 69 hours. What happened to all that flying they were talking about?

I took a junior assignment once thinking I could make enough money to buy a riding lawn mower but when I got paid I only made enough to buy a push mower. Now I have to spend all weekend pushing it around. If I had made enough to buy a riding mower I'd have time to come to work on my days off. Besides, I'm going to the 40th anniversary celebration of Smokey and the Bandit tomorrow. Hoping to meet Hot Pants Hilliard.
And what's going to happen if there does end up being a bunch on CX's over the holiday transition? This email sounds like they're just setting up the rationalization for another temper tantrum if they don't get what they want. Like a little kid threatening to pick up his ball and go home.
It has been reported (several times) that there is a TRO issued against Spirit pilots, and some of the justifications used in court were direct quotes from pilot forums, such as this.

While the role of the Moderator is to encourage good-natured (even if "spirited" ) debate and/or discussion on a variety of aviation topics, (within the guidelines that APC has established), it does not normally include matters of law.

However, since free internet webs cannot screen users for common sense, or just "how to not be a public idiot," I am closing this thread out of caution to prevent further company actions.

It seems some people can't help repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot, by shooting off their mouths.

Start a new thread if you like. But if any post smells of an illegal work action, that poster will be banned.....and the thread closed again.

Be smart. Lawyers are sneaky.

And I sincerely hope you get a good contract.
