My personal favorite line....."man they really should put that on the checklist!"

Reminds me of the story of a pilot who got lost and ran out of fuel that said: "I couldn't read what heading I was on because the sun was in my eyes."

Maybe those 2 AI crew members should stick to bush flying in fixed gear aircraft only.

Why did they put it like this:

"After take off, both the women pilots forgot to retract the landing gear."

Maybe, because that's what happened?

My favorite part is when the plane stopped climbing in the 20's and the crew didn't get clued in that something wasn't normal.
If the reporting is accurate, I wish there was some way to hear those cockpit tapes.

In the 172 they didn't have one of those levers, bright side... at least the brakes were cool.
