Rumor around the school house is 10-15 new hire slots for the MD 80 at DFW. I’m not sure how fast the manning will draw down as the fleet is retired over the next 24 months, or how that will effect displacements of junior FOs. A320 and 737 bottom numbers are very close, but there has been more movement at the bottom for 737 lately. Of course past performance is no guarantee of future results. The seat lock for a new hire is only six months, so pick a city you can commute to easily while you are junior.
