i am currently getting instruction from a guy all on his own... he has 3500+ instruction hours. plus he has great rates ($21/hour)... and i also am a fractional owner of a beech sundowner (c-23), so i use that plane which will end up costing me about half of what it would cost to rent a 152 for 40+ hours. all in all my private will only cost me about $2500-3k
Private single engine land- 2 separate private cfi's at a local flying club
Private multi engine land- an FBO "grey eagle aviation" then they lost their 141 cert so I had to leave since I was a VA student
Instrument,CAMEL, CASEL, MEI, CFI- an FBO "Orion Aviation"
Tailwheel endorsement- a private CFI who owned his own C-170
High performance- a private CFI who owned a stearman
Every single place I went to was great, I did not like the very first CFI that I had for the first 15 hours of my private so I got a new one. There is absolutely no excuse for not liking your training outfit or cfi. You are the paying customer and you do not stop looking until you are happy with where you are at
