Ahh ok, that’s news to me. Thanks for the update

Quote: Good grief. I did not ask the question or need it answered. I knew the answer and know how to look up a pay scale in a contract. I wasn’t being confrontational and I would hardly consider what I wrote as a diatribe. I was just pointing out that the person asked a question that was different from what was answered and that it can be difficult to see what future pay will be based upon one chart on APC.
I’d hardly make assumptions about a person and what they can or can’t handle on line because you took offense about how they phrased something on APC. I didn’t insult anyone, I didn’t go off on anyone, I didn’t even say anyone was wrong.
I think the quote function is accidentally being used for the wrong posts. One can manually use it too, for instance...

Applied about a week ago. Making a jump to that schedule would be tough for me likely (two kids at home), but after talking with my wife, it seems like a good deal. Hope to get a call.

Same here. Facetime would help. Would prob consider part-time nanny, too.

The way I look at it, I’m a 14 yr CA at “a regional”, and still only hold about 12 days off. I am a commuter, and the 4 on 2 off wears on you. The 2 days I’m at home, I’m preparing to go BACK to work. 3 days off is sufficient, but still not enough. I figure only once or twice a month will I have to make the adjustments between “home life” and “work life.”

I’ll be able to do a lot more with the wife and kids with a 2 week off stretch than I will 2-3 random days.

At least that’s how it’s working in my head. I’ve got a Q1 class date, so I’m looking forward to the challenge.

I just finished IOE recently. I’ve done the regionals commuting, and my last job I was gone longer than here at K4. Positive space to and from work is great. My airline flight got delayed and I got stuck traveling enroute going home. Delta wasn’t going to put me in a hotel as I had to wait overnight for my rebooking, and my new booking didn’t get me to my base airport. I called into our travel department, got a hotel, and the next day ubered home on the company after the flight. You’ll work hard here, expect to work your days on and be flexible as your schedule will always be changing, but your days off are yours. Best of luck during training!

I am shocked that they authorized an UBER from your resident airport to your home. That travel by the contract in on us.

The other part that sucks is if you were actually on a normal trip (not IOE), because you started your travel home, you would not have qualified for the 6 hours of pay for getting home late even though you got delayed.

The Uber was from an airport other than my home airport as the rebooking on delta wouldn’t get me home till 24 hrs later. This trip wasn’t after IOE, but three rsv days in my line this month. Also I was going home a day early so the extra pay didn’t come into play either. I got home at 9 am on my last rsv day.

I apologize in advance if this is covered elsewhere on the forum. How does the 767 schedule look? Especially for a guy living in CVG? I know you don't necessarily get to "choose" your aircraft type upon being hired, but from what I understand they ask what you preference.

Basically, if there isn't really an advantage to living in CVG on the 767 (maybe more time at home) then I would try to go for the 747 (more money) Thanks!
