This is why I have stuck with logbook pro, but NC software recently increased the price for APDL.... After my subscription expires, I will probably start looking for a new option..

Any update for something that can login to Crewtrac or Flica to download without costing the first year’s salary?

ForeFlight as a logbook feature too.

I just started using Safelog. It's pretty neat! I was previously using Foreflight logbook, but wanted something that had Integration with airline scheduling software. Although the design looks circa 2003 it works pretty well.

Safelog is more like circa 2010. Want circa 2003? MCC/CrewLounge is the place to be... except it really isn't.

Safelog isn't direct integration, but you can copy/paste your Flica schedule, and SafeLog parses it well. I've been using it for two months with no issues.

It turns out you're right. Is RosterBuster that expensive? It might be worth it to get so everything is automatic.

So, I bought MCC Pilot log back in '17 because it was no muss no fuss.. log on, download schedule, log out.
  • Is MCC pilot log going to continue to function in that manner?
  • In the same vein, I'm guessing if it breaks than it won't be fixed (as indicated in previous posts)?
Is there any other product that works as effortlessly?
I actually have Logbook Pro but as said bought the MCC at start of airline career for ease of use/time management purposes. I previewed APDL at that time but the copy/paste thing wasn't intuitive/didn't seem to work right and they also don't have an Android app as well as other things...

Recommendations from the ease of use/download my schedule perspective? or is APDL/Logbook Pro better than it was?

I did read through but wasn't sure and this MCC > Crewlounge thing is all new news to me (just came back from a very lengthy MIL leave)

I'm still in the trial of APDL. The only issue I've had so far is having to set the start date of my pairings manually when I copy and paste.

Everything else is easy peasy.

The documentation is helpful as well.

Combo of Logbook Pro Desktop and APDL for the win....

Been using it for the last 2 years.

Just wish it was on the level of Logten Pro in terms of UI and synchronization from APDL on a mobile device to logbook pro desktop.

I was in almost the same boat. I was MCC was good at the time, but it's no longer supported. They have made it very clear that things that break (such as the airline interface that broke and was fixed a few months ago) will no longer be fixed.

Their solution is to offer a discount on a new CrewLounge license based on having an MCC lifetime license. I have a buddy who subscribed to CrewLounge... it's pretty much the same thing as MCC, just more expensive.

I'm an Android guy and went with Safelog. It's a little weird, but it works. If you use MCC already, then you're already used to a little weird.
