Quote: Every 1 recruit they get because they have a base in Kansas City (most depressing city and airport in the country) or Columbus (worst college in the nation) they lose 10 because of the situation in ORD or the fact that there is no base in DEN anymore.
Plenty more people come here to punch time, for an increasingly quick upgrade, and to get out all while not getting totally sh!t on QOL-wise. Most people outside of the outstations are just here to get in and get out quickly, whereas a lot of the stagnation in the outstations are people that have no desire to leave their small town. Sure it's cheap to live in the outstations, and you can justify a decent living in one as a captain here, but I personally think it's a little short-sighted just to say 'oh this is good enough' leaving a lot of potential career earnings on the table. But to each their own...

20 years under the same guy. The guy who fumbled Midwest, Frontier, cancelled more flights a month than you have flight hours, oh and bankruptcy.
You must be simple minded.

Given everything you stated here, you know what happens to airlines with faulty management? They cease to exist. HARDLY the case at Republic. I’m not a “company man,” but bashing them with baseless comments because they don’t cater directly to your needs is childish.

They don’t seem to have any issues recruiting people.

The main reason I chose republic is because they have a base in Kansas City. There are many pilots here and why should it be ignored ? Sure, it's not for everyone, and the same applies to Chicago or Denver.
