I ❤️ our outstations. One of the primary reasons I chose YX. I think others feel the same. Outstations are a strength of ours, and a recruiting tool whether you like it or not.

I couldn’t care less about our outstations. The insane lopsided size of our outstations vs our hubs (except NY) is what’s frustrating. I’ll never see Chicago as a captain because Republic has to feed the monster outstations with that flying. 10 years to hold ORD as a captain at this company is pathetic.

Don't forget about all the mysterious disappearances of the good island overnights after the corn gets cut down and the temperature falls in Vatican City.

Being able to buy an almost 2000 sq ft house on FO regional pay while driving to work is great!! And with CA pay now coming in I can severely upgrade my lifestyle where I live if I wanted. That doesn’t happen in places like Chicago or NYC.

There’s a reason why the YX management team grows the outstations over the hubs. 20 years under the same guy, this company is pretty successful. If you didn’t get the hint, they don’t care about, you have a career that’s flexible to move anywhere so make it happen if you’re not happy.

Not to sound like a you know what. But did you do your homework before coming here. It was your choice. If you wanted ORD in the long run maybe another regional would of been a better choice. Just saying.

ORD was one of Republic’s biggest hubs when I was hired.

You must be new.

20 years under the same guy. The guy who fumbled Midwest, Frontier, cancelled more flights a month than you have flight hours, oh and bankruptcy.

Every 1 recruit they get because they have a base in Kansas City (most depressing city and airport in the country) or Columbus (worst college in the nation) they lose 10 because of the situation in ORD or the fact that there is no base in DEN anymore.
