Hello,
Can you tell me why the flight trajectory goes counter clockwise? Even in daytime, at some moment the sun appears at the right side of the cockpit glass?
Isn't the sun supposed to stay at the left side of the airplane all the time?

Is the globe map wrong?

The sun rises in the northeast and sets in the northwest. The route to Hong Kong From SFO starts out heading NW. If the flight departed in the morning the sun would be out the right window. The route heading into Hong Kong finishes heading SW, so the sun setting in the NW would also be out the right window. I'm assuming you're not a pilot, so google "great circle route" to understand why the route appears to be a curved line.
