Quote: Could it be that those who complain don’t send a detailed letter, documenting such infractions committed by said instructor(a) to the Director of Training, let along the C/P or D/O?
Actually, my buddy in the training dept. said they fired an instructor for this last year and several others were recently reprimanded for the same thing along with their sh!tty performance in general. So that's something.

All of the C5 pilots who have called or messaged me said the training is good.

I was in a highly reputed training program and one of the sim instructors would go outside for a smoke break while students were in the sim. He wasn’t the best instructor, but the program as a whole was still world class. Just saying that one guy doing something weird doesn’t mean it’s pandemic

Quote: Been curious to see what is going on in the C5 training department lately. I understand there are many complaints against a few instructors who seemingly will let important training items left undone and un-checked while they are more concerned with their cellphones while conducting simulator training. One instructor actually plays music on his phone and another is busy playing virtual chess games. We are supposed to have the best training program in the industry, so what's up?
Virtual chess guy has been fired.
