I hit that wake at FL390 and 20 miles in trail when it was at FL400. It was like hitting a wall.

Good riddance to a plane that makes RVSM unusable.

The last A380 will probably be parked before the last 747 rolls off the line (thanks to Amazon and cargo demand).

Two engines too many. Current engines are so good you don't need 4.

Does it have a cargo future? Or is it too airport limited?

Probably reused as a cargo once emirates sells them. They love cheap used planes.
