There's a lot in life I have yet to learn. I will never know it all. I may be newer to JB than you and perhaps most posters here (which are but a tiny fraction of our pilot group), but I am not new to life.
Yes, I like my job at JB overall. When things happen that I DON'T like, rather than moan about it all day/week, I try to remind myself of the positives. I have no plan to leave, so I can either seek a way to find enjoyment with my employment, or face a miserable future. I choose the former, and think all of us would better served in doing so.
Doesn't mean we have to bend over (in EITHER direction) for the company. If you find that the gears need to be shifted, by all means, do so, even if it takes a little grinding to get them where you want them.
Out CBA leaves us plenty room for improvement;it's just the beginning. I didn't vote yes, but I also don't hold it against those who did. They did not "ruin it for the rest of us", as I have seen people post here.
The millenial interns that seem to have no clue how to schedule thing on a sunny day, and seem to run and hide when a raindrop falls? I'm sure I could do better than them, but maybe I couldn't... I've never tried. But having some pilots in that section could not hurt the operation one bit. Are you willing to work that job two weeks out of every few months to lend your guidance and expertise?
If you were positive before, I am sure you can be again. And if you are successful, getting back to that will add years to your life. I wish only the best for you and your family, because it means I am probably getting the same.
