Does SKW honor seniority like a union shop?

Sorry to bruise your ego, but I’m still waiting for you to find those holes in the ideas that I’ve put forward and suspect I’ll be waiting awhile.

Quote: Sorry to bruise your ego but nobody here wants to get preached to by a 160hr PP about how and what we should be doing. Nobody cares that you've spent time in a non-pilot group union, majority of pilots who flew elsewhere before SKW have been in a pilots union, including myself.
Good-luck with your training, may you have a long and enjoyable career.

None of that has any bearing on the discussion at hand regarding whether OO respects seniority any differently than unionized regionals; I can’t tell you the specific mechanics of how OO Crew Support handles your Flight Duty Period extensions, but you guys have to play by the same set of rules (defined by 117) as every other 121 carrier.

Quote: Explain to me how our FDP Extensions work, use of non-movement time, as soon well as how RTG's are paid without wheel movement. I'm actually curious your opinion on items like those since you understand life as a line pilot here.

Quote: Actually, the problem is that I’ve put you in your place with respect to the discussion at hand using truth, logic, fact & reason and you don’t like that, so you’ve resorted to childish personal attacks.
Lol. M'kay.

The point is not what bearing it has on seniority at OO. The point is whether or not you understand the life of a line pilot, which you do not.

Basically what we’re trying to tell you is this: learn to take a hint.

I've put in the work to understand it perfectly well. It's not nearly as complicated or magical as your ego wants you to believe it is - take your own hint.

Why hasn't SAPA stepped in for training duty days?
Had a jump seater in training that told me that they kept them 6 days, then they did a "brief" on day 7 and then flying on day 8. You see, this is a prime example of the validity of a union. People accepting this behavior from management are only contributing to the degradation of our profession. How the pilots at SKW have let this go on for so long is beyond the realm of reason.

Because SAPA is literally powerless.

That was not my experience going through training. There was an optional lab/"brief" on one of the off days, but it was very clear that it was optional and a number of people didn't attend.

30 off in 7, maybe?
If you have to ask, then you don't need to be told.
