All the hiring, interview, new-hire, and base questions are scattered all over the place. Let's clean it up a bit and use this thread for those questions.

Good news for those interested in Allegiant. This just in from Flight Ops:

This week, we have even better news to report. The growth plan has already changed and we will need to hire more Pilots than originally anticipated. While the final numbers are still being evaluated for approval, we are excited to announce that recruiting sessions have already started...

... - We are projecting to hire 100+ new Pilots for the flying increase in March 2020.
- Active recruiting sessions have already started.
- The first new hire class will begin in August of 2019.
- We are anticipating 30+ upgrade opportunities with associated class start dates in the fall of this year. (This does not include the approximate 11 upgrades already scheduled to begin training in August.) As vacancies become finalized, they will be communicated to you in accordance with the CBA.
- We expect additional permanent domiciles to open in 2020, and should have more information to share in July.

Good luck everyone!

Rumors abound at F9 of new bases in 2020, more information and “announcements” coming in July. Hmmmmm🤔

Does Allegiant pay on top of guarantee pay the 2.0USD a hour while in training in Las Vegas. Also what are the chances of a new hire getting LAS as a base

New hire will be considered LAS based during training so you won’t receive the $2 per diem 24/7. You will get 70 hrs guarantee. It is not impossible to get LAS as a permanent domicile out of training but chances will be slim.

They put out a memo yesterday that our minimums are now 1500TT, 1000 turbine, 250 PIC in an airplane, and 50 multi. Apparently they have already had to lower the standards after filling the first 2 classes. Oops. Have fun with those 1500/50 FOs captains. Why go to Mesa when you can just come here? Ha.

You can put your tin foil hat back on the shelf. We all know those are to accommodate exceptional candidates. Want to know Delta's requirements?

Yeah I'm sure we have a bunch of single seat fighter guys knocking the door down like delta does. Ha.

I don’t think many people going to Mesa have 1000 turbine...

Awww, you know him... He swaps between the tin foil and the grumpy.

FYI, I know multiple mil guys already hired. Not all jet jockeys, but a couple of them didn't meet the 3000 due to having one fleet flying tour (and maybe an instructor tour).

Also, they probably stole our minimums from Delta. Someone probably asked why our minimums were more stringent than the "best company out there."

Got the in person invite this afternoon. Anyone else gone through the past few weeks? Either way I'm glad people are getting called, good luck to everyone else that gets called.
