I know we get a discount on Fedex for normal packages. Anyone have any gouge on car shipping discounts? Just across the country, not overwater.

Shipping a car by air? You might want to be sitting down for that quote. But seriously, I shipped a Trans Am from Colorado to SW Florida by enclosed transport last year. About $2300 if I recall correctly. That is door to door and open air is cheaper if your car is nothing special.

I shipped a boat once using UShip. It’s like eBay where you post the job and shippers will compete and give you quotes. Just do your diligence to read their reviews and you’re good.

FDX owns one of the collector car shipping companies, can’t remember the name.
