Quote: I wonder if the investors will eventually sue management for misleading shareholders, a la FedEx? Last earnings call led me to believe they're starting to see through the thin veil, and it's only going to get worse from there.
I agree. 4th qtr earnings call will be even worse. Block hours are way way down. Numerous birds across all customers are sitting - I guess there can be Christmas without Amazon 😂

Last year the “boys” said block hours in excess of 340k for 2019. Q3 earnings has block hours have been adjusted to below 320k - I suspect we will do closer to 300k for the year. For a company that charges 20k per block hour on avg. 40k “lost” block hours, not to mention the lost bonus, share price, and reputation-it’s amazing they are still in charge.

More like they’ll put the Red Dress on one more time and fill their wallets on the way out. And I don’t think any would blame them.

I've seen them do that too...

In this country, anyone can sue anyone for anything.

More to the point is whether or not the labor troubles at Atlas will destroy the company? Ten years ago that would have been a stupid question. Today, when better opportunities for pilots are abundant, it is not.

Labor problems(baggage handlers,,cabin service,,pilots,,etc) has never destroyed an airline. Idiot management teams and idiot management teams alone has always destroyed an airline,,PERIOD !!!

Would you be referring OH management which is now at ABX

Of course, because every cargo thread on APC ultimately ends up being about ABX.

I think this one started off as being about Atlas.

Labor has never destroyed any airline. Learn the history of your industry.

I was referring to management not adapting to the current pilot shortage if you read the context.

What part of this didn’t you get?

Quote: This is going to be hard on the company and the NMB and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, what with the 13th amendment and all...

Maybe they should have negotiated in good faith. Then they might not be seeing a mass exodus of experienced guys and newbies coming only long enough to get a type rating consolidated.
