Hate to start a whole thread for this, but what headset do you guys/gals use? I'm new to OO/121 and I currently employ the A20s, but due to the size, I'm seeking an affordable, durable, downsize. Pro Flights? Clarity Aloft? Stick with what I got?

I’ve seen a wide range of headsets worn. QC’s with Uflymike are pretty popular since it can be a headphone or headset. Bose Proflight that takes up less space. I still use my A20’s and will stick with them. Buy a bag like the Luggageworks multipurpose cube that has a compartment for a headset, though it sacrificed some cooler space.

I still use my original DC's. Indestructible. Not as comfortable as other stuff but I'm also not spending a grand.

I still use my Bose X that I bought in 2007. Most guys I see are using a full size headset though, so your A20s will be just fine.

I use the DC Pro Xs and love them. Lightweight, ANR, not ridiculously expensive, bluetooth, and on the ear so your sunglasses aren’t being press against your head.

The uflymike and Nflightmic are not acceptable in a crew environment.
Showing up with one of those tells me you don’t care that the person you are flying with.

I have the original uflymike. Switching to DC pro x2 airbus 5 pin. With a ga adapter cable just in case..

The Uflymike has a gain control that most don’t know about. Whenever I flew with somebody with a UFlyMike that didn’t have their gain set correctly, I’d help fix it.

It's not just the gain, it's also the boom that keeps flexing out so they have to keep fiddling with it.
