Telex 5x5 has outstanding sound quality and noise reduction. In a blind test, the participants couldn’t tell the difference between the headset and a tin can with string.

At least the tin cans cover your ears...

If you have the A20s I’d keep those. They work great, especially on the 175 and many people use them. They fit in most flight cases just fine.

DC Pro X-2, lightweight, minimal bag space, comfortable/doesn't clamp to your head.

I have A20s but I'm considering swapping to a uflymike, as after a 12 hour day it starts hurting my ears due to the fit.

Showing up with one of those tells me you don’t care that the person you are flying with.
What's up with this comment? I know a line captain who uses one

I've flown with tons of guys that have (uFly mic) them. Never once had an issue.

Guys that wear any sort of Telex headset tend to have some sort of humming feedback (and for some reason chatter on COM2) that plays through the intercom on the ERJ....that's the most annoying IMO.

I’m assuming I’ll be able to use my light speed zulu 3’s without issue? Heard no issues with those in the 121 environment.

I have been using my A20s in the CRJ for almost 4 years and have no complaints.
