ANR Headsets
I'm thinking of purchasing an ANR headset (I'm an -800 guy, and it's loud in there!).
After looking at websites for the Lightspeed, Bose, David Clark, and Telex ANR headsets, all I've learned is that the respective companies are capable of hiring people who write good advertising copy.
Are there any sites out there with relatively recent comparisons? Are you happy with the one you use?
Bueller? Bueller?

I enjoy my Lightspeed Zulu. I've found the Bose to be similar in noise cancellation (have swapped in flight multiple times to get a good comparison), but I personally feel the zulu is a bit more comfortable. I know a lot of you jet guys don't like full headsets, but I've never been tired of it after up to 9.5 hours of flight time. I also appreciate the music input, and the fact that it auto dims (or reduces in volume, anyway) when an ATC or intercom input is present.
I'd try on the Zulu and the bose, and I think bose has a new version out as well. I don't think you'll be disappointed with either.
Coming from a piston and turboprop guy... Good luck!

Best headset I've used in a semi loud flight deck (CRJ and Q400) is the Bose QC2 and UFlyMike setup. Works very well. Bose X was overkill and to big for the flight case, and I didn't care for the Telex ANR 850. Didn't like it resting on my ears. Good luck.

Some people don't believe me. I fly some very loud (no interior) airplanes, and with sunglasses, then bose isn't enough. With my CA in, I'm in comfort! For me it took a few weeks of ear popping when I first got them, but now they are GREAT!
