Quote: Ya know, it sucks. The whole AAWW/SAI contract thing. I thought there was a good chance of things coming around eventually, that is, until the unpredictable thing called coronavirus happened. While a lot of guys/gals are soon to be without work, it's an absolute waste of time to try and talk anyone out of coming here at this point. I know for fact if I was staring down the barrel and trying to do what was best for me and mine, I'll bite the bullet and jump right in without hesitation. Why? Because it's about survival now. It's about keeping a roof over our heads and keeping our families fed. So, it's about time to keep the negative comments to yourselves and welcome those that have been let go from other carriers as they do what is best for them. Who knows, we may need a good referral someday if/when it happens to us?

To answer the question(s), the 737 side of the house is pretty good. One to two legs per day on both sides. 400's are rumored to be leaving but who knows until it happens. Those will have you flying the backside of the clock, though. Be prepared to sit on the 73 for a long time as a number of people I know get bumped pretty regularly for new hire training. While you may not fly over min, you'll easily credit min or better due to our rig pay. 30 day schedules are 17 on/13 off and that does NOT include your travel days. There are 60 day lines that split everything up a bit, too. You can also bid reserve lines. Also, I would point out that due to the contract negotiations, it's not a good idea to pick up open time. Just my $0.02 on professionalism. However, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Triple 7 side of the house gets more pay due to actual flight times. You'll be fighting over landings since it's augmented crew but you'll get more block time which equates to better pay.

Not too familiar with the Atlas side of the house but hope that helps answer some questions.

Thanks for the detailed information, much appreciated.
