Just ask your “bro” from SkyWest.

I'm at a regional right now, and sh*t is about to hit the fan, so I'd rather fly cargo for years to come, always wanted to actually.

Anyone out there?, some pros? I know most of cons. Is that seat lock set on stone? A 777 transfer would be nice after 1-2 years.

Do all the pilots fly both DHL and AMZ routes? or you get assigned one of them.

Would anyone be willing to show a typical monthly schedule? you can PM me too if you prefer so.

Thanks everyone.
Shoot me a PM with your email and I’ll send you a bid package. The lines vary from 63-78 hrs of credit. The lowest credit lines have 16 or more days off. The lines are normally either DHL or AMZ. The trips are not always 17 days, in fact, there are quite a few split lines which is nice if you live in base.

Hmm, I didn’t realize that certain regionals recruited from the cannabis shops in Venice Beach. Sign of the times I suppose. But hey, if you ever grow back another brain cell maybe you’ll realize that ignoring a heaping number of warning signs while searching for one slim glimmer of hope in an attempt to justify an irrational emotional decision is in fact pi$$-poor decision making.

Or maybe rational thought completely eludes you in which case you’ll just jerk gear for pennies for the next several decades.

I would love to know what on earth did I do to you. I posted something, using good/decent grammar and good manners, and you didn't have to participate, answer or even acknowledge my existence , but you chose to do so and started talking sh*t about me.
You don't know me, you don't know my background, but you choose to act like a grumpy and arrogant person. Are you really that bored or is your life so miserable that you need a punching ball here on APC to release some stress/pressure.
It's a shame because apparently you've been around for a while and you could offer some solid advice, but you'd rather act like a bully.
Don't you worry though, nice normal people from your company decided to share some information through PM.

They’re still hiring man. That’s all you need to know. Probably better to get a few thousand on unemployment, certainly better QOL.

Are you serious? Have you looked around lately? It's not irrational to want to pay your rent or buy food... those are real costs that have to be met. If I was at say, TSA, and now I'm not not earning, you're damn right I'd be looking at Southern and a paycheck. I'll take overworked and underpaid vs homeless and hungry. You better adjust to this current 'here and now' and stop breaking the balls of guys on the street looking for a living.

A job is a job, and being on the outside of aviation looking in is a living nightmare. Anyone who tells you that it is better to be on the outside is a clueless tool with selfish intentions. Keep flying.

This...much easier to get a flying job when you have one and are current.

Taking unemployment and losing currency is really bad advice. I know some people who did exactly that in prior downturns and after the unemployment money ran out the only places that would take them were regionals.
