Let’s not start in on each other during times like this. Not helpful. And yeah I get it...but save it for another time.

Where you here during that time ToddChaves or were you still in flight training? FYI the”massive payout” was not that massive. Do you know how many COLAs the company was willing to accept?

Who cares where he was. Many folks were affected by F9’s bk at the regional level. I got furloughed because it and spent most of a decade making between $0 and $30k/yr while you all scraped by on $167k. “Massive payout” is relative so let’s call it what it is...just over $200K so far. Yeah, more senior folks should’ve taken a COLA...it’s BS and you know it. Of course one doesn’t have to look any further than the contract to see what the Denver flying club thinks of the rest of us. I’m so sick of hearing about “how bad we had it” and “how much we sacrificed” as justification time and time again. You think you’re the only ones with a rough go from 2008 to 2018? **** up a rope.

I disagree. It was crap, and the DEN flying club should be called out on their ******.

It was basically 5ish years of back pay...I was surprised so many people took it.

Something along the lines of UAs 50 hour stay home lines need to be negotiated if they really need to make cuts

2008? Try sept 11 2001 till now. 2 furloughs and right seat at f9 making 75ish for 8 years. Didn’t make six figures until over 40 years old. Lost double my 70k check in retirement last month. Looking at the cola list most of the people on it have other income. I’ll gladly do a cola when the company actually negotiates for a real one. Your saying take a substandard cola and complaining about language. Which is it? I’m not Denver based.

Yeah, it sucked for the entire industry. Everybody! Let’s not pretend everyone but you is a wet behind the ears kid. I’m flying with a guy who is on his 9th airline. We all get it.

I think his point was, he was disappointed in seeing how few senior pilots took COLA. Of which...most reside in Denver. everyone has their own agenda, but I agree it was disappointing to see. Side note: your retirement will come back, unless you're 64

28 out of what 620??? I’m at the bottom of the list and would have gladly taken a month to be with family during this crazy time and let the company and union figure things out...if I had just got that paycheck. I can’t believe more didn’t take it. More non Fapa invest people took it than those who were part of it.

I agree about the stay at home lines, but wouldn’t hold my breath with this management clan.
