Who did all the Flex pilots get an email from? The Dalai Lama himself...

Not true. We will be paid for days worked over 10, but the extra will be paid in a later pay period.

Odds on seeing that money? I’m thinking they’re quite low.

Nah, Flex pilots have looked like ever since they voted out their union:

I wish the good guys at FX would wake the * up but I fear it may be too late. You got got. The worst part is that it's so blatantly obvious to everyone else in the industry except for you. Furloughs may be imminent for many of us, unfortunately, but at least most of us unionized folk have the benefit of scope language, recall rights, and will not have the burden of having to re-interview for the same job with the same company. Yeah, that's happened in the past and it'll probably happen again.

Quote: As of March 31st it was 188 which more slowly trickling in. Keep in mind a number of these were for only 30 days, others I read about as much as 4 months. Could be higher, not everyone volunteers what they put in for on the message board.

As far as Furloughs at NetJets, those will be difficult with all the fleet types we have. Globals, Gulfstreams, Challenger 350's and 650's, Latitudes, Sovereigns, Excels, Phenom 300's, etc. Lots and lots of training at FSI which was short staffed before the virus crisis. I posted a few days ago that a 1000 pilot furlough would go back to late 2004/early 2005 DOH. Pilots with over 10 years get 4 months furlough pay. And the WARN act requires 2 month's notice of a large layoff. So 6 months of pay for many of the theoretical 1000. I would guess NJA will offer something like American Airlines has where you're paid a portion of your salary to stay home and remain current in the Sim. That way if flying spools up faster than expected NJA will be ready.

This is an interesting thread because XO flew more hours on Friday than NJA, which is 7 times bigger. Also if I am reading the news right NJA is not considered in the bailout money because all their jets have "owners" and thus they are not an "essential business" which can be used to transport supplies etc? They are managers of very wealthy peoples jets???? Pelosi said its time for Uncle Warren to open his own check book????

Dude what is your deal?

How do you know what NJA flew on Friday? Also, air travel has been deemed an essential business. Essential businesses and bailout money are two different things. NJA isn't a part of the airline stimulus because they aren't an airline, plain and simple.
