Not surprising since at least one village (Unalakleet) is not allowing any inbound or outbound passenger service until May 1.

Who? The aviation arm of Academi formerly known as Xe formerly known as Blackwater?

Probably a good attempt to reorganize and get rid of debt.

I’m interested to see how this all pans out. They paid $13 million for PenAir recently. There’s going to be a lot of communities hurting for freight if Grant, Ryan, etc. can’t pick up the slack.

I’m gonna put my money on ACE stepping up and doing freight and EAS to more of the state. Just a guess

Saw an ADN article that says Grant and Ryan are adding villages to their schedules and hiring pilots. I think Grant is requesting expedited service from the FAA to add at least one C208 to their certificate.

I would bet on this as well

I've heard a rumor that shutting down was a political ploy to strong arm the government into giving them money after they realized they had shot themselves in the foot and wouldn't be getting any of the CARES aact money because they had laid off most of the company.
I'm really glad to see the other operators stepping up. Even Alaska Air has kinda been like screw you Ravn.
