Bored?

We could get into a good ole fashioned argument....

Market Cap at 745 million.... 50% increase from the last time we talked... Think that is just above SWA's profit sharing payout?

Gov. Ige specifically said to visit Hawaiian Airlines website for interisland travel procedures starting Tuesday.... Guess SWA isn't giving him the reach around these days?

Hoping SWA doesn't sneak in and snake our Japan/NZ/AUS/S.KOR travel bubble opportunities....I'm guessing the MAX would be perfect for those routes?

Lights are still on over here.

Alright...1,2,3 GO!!!!!

All awesome news. Not a lot of info coming out from them, at least if you aren't on internal comms.

Yes, K-A-F, WN will roll in with the MAX to snake your OZ-NZ-Japan routes, the SWA way. With pretzels, hot pants, and an island-hopping campaign using Wake Island, Where America’s Day begins!

whoa Maverick... not my intent and yes I’m glad I fly for SWA.. not comparing Brah. Put in 20 years at AQ and miss it too. Married a Local girl and family huge on OGG. Visit 3 times a year and enjoy the service on HAL.
Got a mere 7 years before punching out. I thought we were over this. All the other airline forums are talking a bit about the times we live in. HAL was quiet so just asked. Happy for your $745 million market cap and I prob don’t have to tell you WN is $16B, but who really cares.
We both have great jobs for various reasons.
ok GO 3..2..1

Whoa...I cannot handle counting backwards!!

All in good fun. Atleast from this side... Maybe in a year , we'll get back to some serious company bashing? I'll look forward to that..

It's quiet because we are basically at the mercy of the dumb**** governor...

Some here wish management would put out more info. Others like myself are content that management isn't putting out fear mongering updates designed at concessions 4 and 5 months before the CARES ACT rules are dissolved.

We've got a decent cushion, relatively speaking, given our size. Better positioned than some airlines, not as well as others. But atleast in the ballpark with everyone else. Once quarantine or rules in place, we'll resume flying to a majority of our mainland cities. Probably reduce the multiple flights to places like LAS until demand is there. We'll probably use the same playbook SWA is planning on using. Advertise a fullish schedule months in advance, adjust/cancel/reroute passengers as the flight gets closer if loads aren't there.

Thankfully interisland flights increasing.

I’m confused why the HI governor is keeping things all locked down there. At this point in the game, what’s the upside when your economy depends nearly entirely on tourism.

right on Bro. I’ve got Family working for HAL and WN, go figure. I have enjoyed our banter though 😁😁🤙

when we all get through this let’s pick up where we left off 🥴

I just want 5 to 7 years of flying then I can blow this popsicle stand.
