I could be wrong but currently I don’t think there is any new hire bonus
but if there is one in the past it’s been 1/2 after OE the last 1/2 after 1 year

It was $15k after OE and $5k after 18 months

It's been a little quiet on the Horizon forums lately so thought I'd throw a couple of questions out there.

- Any updates on how hiring is going and how far out classes are being scheduled right now? I've had an app in for awhile and have only gotten the generic status updates.
- If I wanted to get Medford out of training, what are the odds (I've seen the seniority listing on the website which is good)? What do the trips look like out of there on the Q?
- How big are classes on the Q in general and how long is the training footprint? Is the training done in Seattle?

Very good odds you would get MFR right away. Ground training and VPT are in Portland and sims are in Seattle. 4 to 8 new hires per Q class. They are currently running Q classes every two weeks for the foreseeable future. Here is an example footprint, although it may be different now:

Day 1 Company orientation in Seattle

Day 2 Flight ops orientation in Portland

Days 3-11 Travel to ATP-CTP course, do the course and ATP written

2 days break

Days 12-15 Indoc

Day 16 CRM

2 days break

Days 17-21 Systems, FMS labs

2 days break

Days 22-23 Systems, FMS labs, systems validation



Next comes VPT and Sims which can be spread out over a month+

Wonder what they would do with me since I will already have ATP/CTP and the written completed. Hope I get a call at some point..

You get that time off.

Those of us in my class that had our ATP just went home and got a paid week off.
