Most pilot contracts don't allow pilots to be laid off. Instead, pilots get furloughed, even when there's no chance of the airline bringing them back while furlough rights are retained.

one of their posters did a panic post insinuating that 40% of the pilots would be laid off. Reality is 40% of the WHOLE company MAY be laid off. No numbers on pilots. It could be zero.
