Its not that far..... a former Xjet ground instructor who jumped ship to C5 stole a ton of the training materials from Xjet.

This whole "XJT is going out of business" is getting really ridiculous. They are not going anywhere and will be a big player in United's domestic expansion. They continue to cover CommutAir (EWR) and MESA (IAH) block hours each month. They saw a huge increase in block hours from United in March and for next month. They are also opening TYS sometime this quarter.

It really wouldn't be a "merger", more like XJT would acquire their ERJ-145s and flying back.

Hyperbole, much? Perhaps being the launch customer and purchasing almost 300 of the things 34 years ago helped provide the resources necessary to make a world class training department. How many years has CommutAir operated the type? 4? It is also possible that playing 'my regional is better than your regional' is a really stupid game. Buttholes, opinions and regionals all have some things in common.
