Quote: So people stopped flying altogether due to no snacks on short flights? They still offer drinks if you ask, unless of course you want alcohol and if your friends can’t be in a tube for a few hours without a drink they have other issues. If it’s the mask they will be shocked to realize just about everywhere makes you wear one. So maybe if they want snacks and drinks while not wearing a mask they should stay home since that’s their definition of “fun”. It’s called adapting to change. I bet all these people crapping on masks have a line or word in their cover letter along the lines of “flexible” “adaptable” etc etc. lies I tell you

Im not sure scope will have a huge impact, I could be wrong but even based off of current UAX hours, UAX is no where near 120%. I’m sure if they all of a sudden wanted to double UAX hours they might run into an issue but I doubt they will add that much back to UAX without adding to mainline which will keep the averages slowly rising on both sides.
His experience parallels mine with the people I talk to. Your response is a micro level of what wrong with society. Instead of listening to your passengers complaints you brush them off and insult them. The industry is at 30% load factors and you have the audacity to tell them to essentially suck it up or stay home? Good luck with that.

these are the exact same people that will turn around and say the exact same thing to those who don’t want to be around people without masks. It’s a 2 lane street, no matter what lane you’re in you are wrong as it’s a one way going the opposite direction.

Also travel is at 30% due to the pure lack of business travel, has nothing to do with masks, just think of all the companies out there saying they want to send someone on a business trip but cancelling it due to the airlines making people wear masks. I’d venture that not many businesses cite that as a reason but I bet a whole bunch cite “not being safe with virus spread”. Airline making people wear mask can get rid of this reason. Also most of the large big money companies that pay for international long haul first class have masks policies.
if they all of sudden said masks not required there is no doubt that would alianate more people than saying masks are required.

once again, those that are actually flexible and adaptable have no issues dealing with a pain in the behind mask for a few hours, it’s called adapting and overcoming.

There is a concerted effort to enforce this 'new normal', a fundamental shift in the way we live our lives. Resistance seems mostly limited to people staying home to avoid the nonsense. However things are stirring such as the weekend in Berlin. Hard to say how this plays out. I for one hope we don't continue to follow the path of treating every stranger we met as a potential infection vector and destroying all social interaction outside of our immediate circle. It is contrary to the human condition.

85% of the people in the world is introverted. Some who appear to be extroverted are actually extroverted introverts.

I do missing going out of the house for days on end. I actually look forward to going to the grocery store so I can say hello to the self checkout.
