Facts - universally accepted - include A) the fatality rate is very low for those under 65. About the same as the flu. B) the testing in the US is overly sensitive- as many as 90% of “cases” are not infectious (C) the risks of “asymptotic spread” have been vastly overstated, particularly in children.
Yet politicians, idiots, and those that prefer to let others do their thinking for them continue to cling to this doomsday narrative and fail to see this for what it is - a major economic and humanitarian crisis that we created with our response. And now the collective we had too much pride to back track and admit we might have been wrong with our approach and so we continue on to Abilene.
