[777] loses cowling on departure from DEN

Pictures show engine cowling pieces on the ground. No one hurt.

Mike Boyd commented that there is no better airline MX than United on the news.


Edit: It now sounds like it was a 777 engine cowling.

Yep. Put her on the ground. MX is going to have the bird for a minute anyway,overweight landing inspection is least of their concerns.

Really nice job by the flight crew. A situation we all train for but very few of us will ever experience it in the airplane. Kudos!
