I wouldn't tell the United recruiter you used ECIC.

I fail to see racism in those comments.

Thats because you are not desperately seeking it in everything, everywhere and in everybody.

Quote: Racism is the witchcraft of the 21st century, a mere accusation from the “woksters” is grounds for burning the accused on the execution pyre of cancel culture. We are soundly skrewd in this country if what was said by the ECIC CEO is grounds for social execution. Step back and analyze, this is the death of free speech, debate and independent thought.
Woke and cancel culture is just modern day McCarthyism. If you dare question the narrative you are to be hunted down and destroyed. Hopefully history will look at this witch-hunt as an embarrassment just like those of the past.

Quote: I'm a lifelong conservative, voted for Trump (even though he's closer to a democrat imo), and I'm not a fan of BLM and their marxist wokeness BS by any means, but that doesn't make me a racist and I sure as hell don't tolerate racism from people who are supposed to be leaders.

"I am tired of you holding me down. I need you to start sending me reparation checks immediately. PM me for my address and I will bill you based upon how much each of you has held me me back. Expect some hefty fines B****es... Us people of color have got to stick together" -AH, 2020

The apology was the real "wtf" though. It was more of an explanation of his position accompanied by a "my counsel told me to say sorry then shut up" instead of a heartfelt apology. Then the whole ECIC page got yanked off of facebook.
He wrote that? I've got to be honest with you. That sounded more manic than racist. I'm stunned he had poor enough emotional control to post that given his business but...He thinks the concept of monetary reparations is asinine. So do I. His only crime is acting like a jack*** on Facebook.

Racism would be if he said he's better than somebody else because of his race. That's not what he even implied.

Rumor has it that Albie's "reparations" comment came after his mail-in DNA test showed he had some African in his blood line. He was being super sarcastic regarding reparations but in this day and age of wokeness, he should have been smart enough not to make the snide comments on social media so his business wouldn't be affected as well as 6 month no pay from FedEx.

He got suspended from FedEx? This is why I don't have social media.

“TMAAT you got suspended from work for drunk-posting on social media.”

It’s pretty amazing how far we’ve come. A citizen of the USA can be cancelled for making a non politically approved comment. Even if that comment causes no harm or threat to another human being. The similarities to various communist tyrannical dictatorships are eerie. The SJW, cancel culture, woksters are a seething mass of hate and revulsion. Social media is a disease and those who support censorship and canceling are a threat to the very fabric of our nation.

So much drama, so much martyrdom. Nobody has been cancelled, whatever that means. If you want to speak specifically about Aaron Hagen, all I see is a man who lacks the humility to question the validity of his opinions, who chose to broadcast them on a loud megaphone now facing the consequences of his actions. Maybe this is a blindspot for a person who also has 1000s of social media posts: your opinion just isn't that important, and also, sometimes actions have consequences.

If people choose to take their money to a competing interview prep service and Emerald Coast loses business because the boss unwisely couldn't manage to push off from the keyboard, that's just the free market at work. If Hagen wasn't concerned with getting the approval/money from whoever he thinks he is speaking to on FB, then he was and is free to be as loud and dumb as he wants to be online, just as we all are. But to say anyone is being cancelled as if it's some form of exile or prison sentence is far too dramatic, and ironically makes one out to sound like the victims they love to criticize.
