I wouldn't tell the United recruiter you used ECIC.

Lots of people have been avoiding Emerald Coast (ECIC) ever since the owner started spewing out some racist stuff on his personal FB page last year and then couldn't make anything better than an insincere defensive apology about it.

The screenshots posted above don't even compare to the bad ones that disappeared pretty quick.

Nice push from the Cancel Culture crowd, wow!!!!
I wouldn’t tell them who you used regardless. It won’t take long for them to know you’ve used interview prep and that says more than anything, it shows you’re willing to put in the time and effort to prepare for this job. Who you used is about as relevant to them as the color tie you wear. Put in the prep time and just be yourself. And I used ECIC and would again. I never met Aaron, I had a lady and she was excellent.

What he did was use bad judgment by letting his emotions get the better of him. But he's a dude who has helped a LOT of pilots. I'm going to have to see something more than that to judge and cancel the dude.
And before you get sensitive about my view on it, I'll tell you that I'm a lifelong Democrat who agrees that the Democrats are as much hypocritical and full of crap as their Republican counterparts.

I know a lot of people that work(ed) for ECIC and provide(d) a great product under his brand's name, but that doesn't absolve him from saying some pretty F'd up things and not even showing legit remorse for them when called on it.

ECIC
I was unimpressed with the ECIC videos. I didn’t feel like it was very valuable, especially for the price. Admittedly, I didn’t really have much interest in them, as I didn’t want to accidentally refer to those stories or scenarios at my interview. The general content is just that, general and only surface level.
However, after you get an interview invite and do their seminars and top-off, you’ll be very thankful. The United-specific seminar was incredible and performed by a United pilot with experience conducting interviews for the company. You’re getting info from an involved source. Specifically for the flight scenario portion of the interview, it was invaluable.
The top-off was also excellent. It’s a mock interview with many of the similarly-worded questions that you’ll see at the interview. It’ll cover a range of topics and will get you prepared for nearly anything asked during the HR portion. It was nice having the reassurance that my answers and tone were on point with what the company was searching for.
FWIW, don’t let Aaron’s social media account prevent you from receiving excellent preparation. If one lets another person’s politic views dissuade he/she from landing their dream job, then it probably wasn’t as important as believed. If you really want the job, help your self and go with a known entity. ECIC and Cage have a track record of success. Don’t overthink it.

What exactly did he say, because the above link was him ranting about a particularly extreme sect of a religion, most of whose members would agree with him on that.
What he did was use bad judgment by letting his emotions get the better of him. But he's a dude who has helped a LOT of pilots. I'm going to have to see something more than that to judge and cancel the dude.

"I am tired of you holding me down. I need you to start sending me reparation checks immediately. PM me for my address and I will bill you based upon how much each of you has held me me back. Expect some hefty fines B****es... Us people of color have got to stick together" -AH, 2020
The apology was the real "wtf" though. It was more of an explanation of his position accompanied by a "my counsel told me to say sorry then shut up" instead of a heartfelt apology. Then the whole ECIC page got yanked off of facebook.
