Alaska Airlines, working with the Alaska MEC, will hold an Open House for ALPA pilots who fly for Fee for Departure pilots on April 22. Approximately 100 pilots will be invited to participate. Because this is not a first-come, first-served event, it does not matter when you apply during the application window of DATES. We encourage you to take your time to thoroughly complete this application and send your resume.
During the Open House, attendees will participate in 10-minute meet-and-greets with representatives from Alaska Airlines Human Resources. From those meet-and-greets, Alaska will identify candidates for formal interviews on the 23rd and 24th. Candidates will be notified by the end of the day on the 22nd if they will participate in formal interviews.
Please note that only pilots with applications on file with Alaska Airlines are eligible to attend the Open House on April 22. If you are interested and able to attend, please request registration by filling out the form below and attaching a current resume.

Key Alaska Question...
I had an AK interview a while back, (did not get the job), be aware of the "the captain says 2 hours out, on the last leg of a 4 day that he's landing at home base no matter what, (minimums are below Cat 2)...the Cat 3 aircraft do it all the time"
What are you going to do?
I must have had the wrong answer because they drilled me on this for 20 minutes.
Good Luck!

A few questions for you AS guys:
With the window currently open, is it worth submitting a resume with only the ATP written done (to show interest) or is it not recommended until the practical is complete? (Practical scheduled for June)
Do recs from Horizon FOs carry any weight at AS (IE count as internal for AAG)?
Thanks!
