I know, I know, let the howling begin. This is a rumour board, so here's a rumour. This confirmed by an *unnamed* Chief and a CKA Leadership briefing.

Also, it was said that crew planning/marketing wanted us to be plus 1,500 twelve months from now. Training Dept. said it was likely not doable but would shoot for +1,200.

Either way looks like it's gangbusters if we can get our act together. Those are monster moves on a % basis. Discuss.

Those ARE monster numbers on a percentage basis and kind of seem to line up with all the aircraft that are supposed be coming. Has anyone else heard similar grumblings?

Wonder where all the Spirit pilots are going to fit into this equation?

Any rumors about SW purchasing an existing airline to meet demand? If so, who? Sun Country seems to be the most obvious (new base, same fleet, relatively affordable).

Not really affordable, comparitively. Looking at market cap relative to size Frontier, Hawaiian, or Spirit would be a better buy.

Pre-covid we were supposed to upgrade 500 captains and we were hiring like 100 pilots a month. I’ll believe those numbers when they are on the seniority list.

Any tangible rumors on those guys?
