Man, everybody understands this. The argument we’re not willing to accept is that any business or government should have the ability to dictate what medicine you put in your body. Sure, if everyone voluntarily got vaccinated we might be done with this. But our government has a well earned distrust by a large population of Americans so the 100% vaccination rate was never gonna happen and should never be planned upon. Why don’t you get that? Most people are not arguing the validity of vaccines ability to stop disease. We are arguing every American right to refuse medical treatment or vaccines in general. This is not a new sentiment. For many Americans, you’ll never be able to convince them they need to take a vaccine for a virus that most likely will not kill them and very likely not affect their lives in any way.Originally Posted by CGLimits
Seriously dude? You really don’t understand this? The vaccine is very effective on an individual basis. On a global basis, to end the pandemic, or eradicate the disease or minimize its effects so that the country can get back to normal the vaccine is as effective as the proportion of people who get vaccinated. The more people that get vaccinated, the more effective it will be globally. Being stuck at 50% countrywide is not going to cut it. Look at states that have high rates of vaccinations versus states with low rates. The difference is clear. You are a pilot, I know you can understand this.
