What does it matter if we eradicate COVID or not? I am sure another Dr. Fucci funded lab in China will just "accidentally" release it out into the public again.

And you are entitled to get the vaccine, you are not entitled to make that decision for others. Sure, if everyone had gotten in a long line and were forced to get the shot as soon as possible the US might be in the clear, but we would not longer be the US. That’s not what we do here. It never should be what we aim to do here. It’s wrong.

Yeah man…now you are blinding me with your brightness. Let’s not eradicate COVID. Got it, pure brilliance.

Yeah, two different things that are not mutually exclusive. We need both. Really? Goodness…

As CNN would like you to be hysteric about to rescue its nosediving ratings. Something like .097% of vaccinated individuals have died while having the delta variant. That is not even scientifically significant enough to 100% verify that they even died from that variant or had some other preexisting condition. Meaning the vaccine is still very effective. So then I ask again, if you say the vaccine works then why does it matter to you whether other people get it or not?

ALPA Please support the company on this. Most pilots I have flown with have been vaccinated. The majority of flight attendants I have asked also have been vaccinated. There is only one way out of this. Only one. Vaccines. Your rights end where mine begin. If you refuse to see the truth (that’s the real madness) I don’t care anymore if you put yourself or your family in danger. But I do care that you’ll be reckless enough to endanger your coworkers and everyone else you come in contact with. I fully support the company on this and I will ask ALPA to support it as well.
No vaccine in the history of vaccines works unless most people are vaccinated. The reason we eradicated a lot of deseases in the last one hundred years is because everyone got vaccinated. You really don’t know the way vaccines work? Do you think poleo got eradicated because only a few got vaccinated, or measles, or countless other diseases? Unless most of us get vaccinated we are not beating this thing anytime soon. The longer it takes the more time it has to keep mutating.
This is not about guilting people. This is about understanding that this virus is absolutely nothing like the flu. And each variant is behaving differently from previous variants. Some variants are milder, some more aggressive. The Delta variant is a bad one. It is no accident that states with the highest vaccination rates have the lowest cases right now. It’s also no accident that states with the lowest vaccination rates are going through spikes that we had not seen since February. This is not apartheid. We as a country are not understanding that we are in it together. Either we all pull in the same direction or we are not getting out of it.

Really? I am not thinking about me. I am already vaccinated. I personally don’t care about a single one person getting vaccinated. I don’t care about you or your family if you chose not to get it. I care about the whole country and the world getting out of the pandemic so that we can go back to a normal life. Caring about the greater good seems to be a foreign concept around here. But that’s what I care about. And the only way out of the pandemic is through vaccinations. That is a fact. You may hate the idea of it but that is our reality.

Nope, it’s not medical advice. It’s posting Public Health experts advice (not mine although I agree with it) on a forum. I am not advising you to get vaccinated. All I am saying is that we are not getting out of the pandemic without the vaccines. That is according to our Public Health Scientists.

We are already out of the pandemic and should be back to normal life because we have a vaccine, right?. I am vaccinated too but I respect someones right not to get it. I'm fine with that because the vaccine works, right? It is their choice not to take it. Closing things down again or forcing mask wearing at this point is just ridiculous and has more to do with politics and "getting back at the Right" then anything else. If the vaccine really works then things should already be back to normal and those who chose not to take it can face the consequences. That is their choice not yours. Because the vaccine works, right?

How is this concept so hard to grasp? The vaccine only works long term if 70 to 85 percent of us get vaccinated. We are not out of the pandemic just because we have a vaccine. Really? Florida had the largest number of infections in one day yesterday since the pandemic started. The vaccine is no good if we don’t use it at a global scale.
